  on entering the one bedroom accommodation i thought it had been burgled as the lack of furniture was underwhelming , no frying pan 1 large plate and 1 pan .2 weeks safe hire 38 euros and tv 1 euro an hour which also goes down when you turn it off lol. so as for self catering forget it. we had breakfast included which was very poor all eggs far to over cooked and usually cold .pool area was fine didn't go in the pool as it was freezing and never saw it cleaned maybe it was just didn't see it. room cleaners were just for show.on a positive note shower was good also bed was good and the best part of it is the location. nice little bar just below the hotel called calypso nice people and owners .

  The Dirtiest hotel I ever seen! The food is disgusting i felt like I'm in the prison. The hotel Bar drinks made up with water which is ridiculous! Cockroaches running all around the hotel! The bathroom was horrible dirty, the towels and the shower curtain looked gross! I had to clean the bath before I went in. ( it shouldn't be my job to do that) The hotel entertainment was a big rubbish, a man called himself an entertainer he was actually doing nothing just sitting by the bar table and he was drinking beer and telling people about he's sexual life which was disgusting. Once or twice a week he was singing Neil Diamond songs terrible! That's what they called entertainment but that's just one little thing. I'm very very disappointed in ponderosa hotel i wouldn't recommended! I never ever going back there again!

  Small basic room. Instead of a double bed two single beds. Dirty bathroom, the toilet always smelt. Small pool. Great location. On arrival the staff were rude. Also there was another guest complaining they had been robbed; their passport, money and phone all stolen from the room. Wouldn’t recommend at all there’s plenty of other cheap hotels in the area that are better.

  just got back 2 days ago , right where to start large illuminated sign which can be seen for miles has the letter D missing small point but showed a lack of attention to detail.

  Rooms were clean but that's about it. Food is terrible and the noise from the room in the morning. Workmen both sides. The bin men come at 2.30am and make as much noise as possible. The all-inclusive is for set times and finishes at 10pm. I paid £800 for 2 people for a week. Far far to much for this place. AVOID AT ALL COST.

  Come away for mum's mini break (no kids!) Hotel is in a great location. Enjoyed the food everyday. Staff are friendly. Steve the entertainer was brilliant, couldn't fault him. He was great with all the guests, nothing was to much trouble. His singing tribute was great and can't wait to go back.
