  My stay was very good with helpful staff and very clean accommodation. Sharing a room was not a problem with other like minded considerate guests. It was also nice to share a drink or two in the evening and share stories. Give it a try

  My room was really tidy, and the shared bathroom as well. I really enjoyed the terrace which was a good spot to sit at the evening and meet some other people.

  Tortuga is a fun place with a kind and friendly staff. Everyone we met was happy to help and provide plenty of suggestions for sightseeing and activities. Shared breakfast was simple but the mixed company from Poland, Italy, Australia, Lithuania, Canaries/Spain and France, made it a pleasure and a delight. A little smokey smelling out in the shared yard and pool, but overall a great stay. Inside the house was clean, eclectic, and simple. Shared library and shared space for food and some freebies included. This is truly a great example of a fun hostel community.

  We guys in the hostel explained the island and showed us good spots we can visit. The hostel is not far from the beach, which you can get to in just 10-15min. As well we joined the BBQ on Wednesday and it was really funny, they took us afterwards to a flamenco bar which was great!

  Had an absolutely amazing stay at La Tortuga. The staff really treat you like part of the family and are always on hand to help with questions, provide recomendations, share dinner/lunch or invite you out for drinks at their favourite local bar. The free breakfast is one of, if not THE best I've had during my many hostel stays around the world. The dorm rooms and facilities are fantastic (two kitchens, two swimming pools and lovely clean bathrooms). The location is perfect for me - near enough supermarkets, bars and beaches to be handy yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle so it's lovely and quiet at night. The Wednesday night BBQ is not to be missed! I will defintley be back!!!!
